New Moon in Scorpio
- Express yourself from your heart
- Recharge and reignite your passions
- Be clear on how you want to share yourself with others
The New Moon is a regenerative time and perfect for New Beginnings. It is fertile ground for setting intentions, planing seeds and creating space within ourselves to hold something new.
Always a good time to reflect on what may no longer be serving us, and of letting go, to make space for those things that we would like to create space for in our lives, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
The theme of transformation dominates the astral atmosphere at the moment! The cycle of life and the cycle of transformation are both natural cycles and holds great purpose.
Scorpio embodies the alchemist archetype. Alchemy is often described as a “magical process of transformation, creation, or amalgamation”. We have the ability to transform our challenging circumstances into potent wisdom and teachings that can empower us to rise to new heights and learning.
Like the energy of the Phoenix rising from the ashes, we too can let the ‘heat’ of our troubles purify and regenerate rather than let it burn us into the ground! The Phoenix (or “mermaid rising” as I often reflect in my art) is is a symbol of hope.
Of course the tides of transformation often cause us some discomfort, particularly if we are ending a chapter or the end of a life cycle is near. However, if we are able to be present to what is, and not “grip on” due to fear or lack of control, this can assist us to get in flow with the natural rhythm of life and help us become ‘unstuck’.
Be mindful of where you might be ‘digging your heels in’ as sometimes this may be blocking the path for something new to emerge.
In letting go, there is always a choice for us to walk with the fear of everything falling apart or to move forward trusting that you are divinely and universally supported. Which belief do you choose to carry forward with you?
Through times of anxiety or uncertainty, it is helpful to affirm all is aligning in ways that will best support and serve you.
Some affirmations that may be helpful during this time are:
“I bravely and courageously allow my shadows to be illuminated and to be seen. I hold myself with love and tenderness as I face inner wounds for healing”
“I release stories and notions that may be keeping me small due to fear. I give myself permission to fully shine and be all of who I am”
“As I embrace my authenticity and vulnerability, I align with experiences and connections that honour my totality”
